Farrah Fawcett death came in a bit of a dim light when Michael Jackson died the next morning. Who could have believed that these two icon figures would die with in the same week?

Farrah Fawcett died from cancer in her liver and other places. She even went to Germany to undergo not conventional treatment but nothing helped. She stopped receiving treatment in May this year.

Fawcett documented the trials and tribulations of her battle with cancer in the NBC documentary “Farrah’s Story.”

Farrah Fawcett was mostly known for being a typical blond all around California girl and her role in Charlie’s Angels made her a big star. Her poster sold over 18 million to be put on boys walls all around the world.

Give her a thought as well when you think about MJ.

EBay are doing record sales on Michael Jackson memorials and have to hire extra staff just to cope with the pressure.

TV stations and Radio stations are playing Michael Jackson music 24/7 and all other news like the Iran crises or global warming bills are forgotten in the news Tsunami that follow his death.

Celebrities speak out about Michael Jackson death

Celebrities speak out about Michael Jackson death

The celebrities close to Michael Jackson and the one with a similar age to him must feel that everybody and I mean everybody can die.  It does not matter how many doctors or bodyguards that surround you because most of the time you die alone.

So many American celebrities die from overdose or abuse of pills and they have so many doctors willing to subscribe these pills to people. Maybe money does not make you have after all?

“Rarely has the world received a gift with the magnitude of artistry, talent, and vision as Michael Jackson. He was a true musical icon whose identifiable voice, innovative dance moves, stunning musical versatility, and sheer star power carried him from childhood to worldwide acclaim. A 13-time Grammy recipient, Michael’s career transcends musical and cultural genres and his contributions will always keep him in our hearts and memories. We are deeply saddened by this tragic news and our hearts go out to his family and to music lovers around the globe who mourn this great loss.”
Neil Portnow – President/CEO, The Recording Academy®

“Just as there will never be another Fred Astaire or Chuck Berry or Elvis Presley, there will never be anyone comparable to Michael Jackson. His talent, his wonderment and his mystery make him legend.”
Steven Spielberg

“I can’t stop crying over the sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever! My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless.”
Madonna

“I am absolutely devastated at this tragic and unexpected news. For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don’t have the words. Divinity brought our souls together on The Wiz and allowed us to do what we were able to throughout the 80’s. To this day, the music we created together on “Off The Wall,” “Thriller” and “Bad” is played in every corner of the world and the reason for that is because he had it all…talent, grace, professionalism and dedication. He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever.”
Quincy Jones

“I can’t find the words right now to express how deeply saddened I am by Michael’s passing. We have lost a genius and a true ambassador of not only Pop music but of all music. He has been an inspiration to multiple generations and I will always cherish the moments I shared with him on stage and all of the things I learned about music from him and the time we spent together. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones.”
Justin Timberlake

“Dame Elizabeth Taylor is too devastated by the passing of her dear friend Michael Jackson to issue a statement at this time.”
Elizabeth Taylor’s Rep

“I am so very sad and confused with every emotion possible. I am heartbroken for his children, who I know were everything to him, and for his family. This is such a massive loss on so many levels. Words fail me.”
Lisa Marie Presley

“I am heartbroken. My prayers go out to the Jackson family, and my heart goes out to his children. Let us remember him for his unparalleled contribution to the world of music, his generosity of spirit in his quest to heal the world, and the joy he brought to his millions of devoted fans throughout the world. I feel blessed to have performed with him several times and to call him my friend. No artist will ever take his place. His star will shine forever.”
Mariah Carey

“I am so devastated by this terrible news. From the beginning of my career, he was my idol in show business. He was a genius and an incredible artist! I remember when I was growing up and watching him on TV, and all his videos…I had his poster on my wall…he was so amazing…his singing, his writing, his dancing. …It’s unbelievable that he’s no longer with us.”
Celine Dione

The life of Michael Joseph Jackson

The life of Michael Joseph Jackson

Since Michael Joseph Jackson is now dead we should put a short pop and life history of for you. I am sure you already know everything there is to know but just so you have your facts straight.

Michael Joseph Jackson was an American recording artist, entertainer, and businessman. The 7th child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene at the age of 11 as a member of The Jackson 5 and began a solo career in 1971. Referred to as the “King of Pop” in subsequent years, 5 of his solo studio albums are among the world’s best-selling records in the world. In the early 1980s, he became a dominant figure in popular music and the first Afro entertainer to amass a strong crossover following on MTV. The popularity of his music videos airing on MTV, such as “Beat It”, “Billie Jean” and Thriller and personally I think Thriller was the best one. It made music and video into a art form like nobody done before. Jackson popularized a number of physically complicated dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk. His distinctive musical sound and vocal style influenced many hip hop, pop and contemporary R&B artists. One of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his other achievements include multiple Guinness World Records—including one for “Most Successful Entertainer of All Time”—13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career—more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era. His career also pushed the signing career of his two sisters Janet Jackson and La Toya Jackson even if the later is more of a nude model the singer and the family black cheap. His death came very sudden and was not expected by anyone. He was doing a tour in the UK this summer and they were sold out already.
