This is the question which is asked several times in my mind. As a blogger I should provide good articles to readers. Because I also a visitor in many blogs. Therefore I know the value of a blog. So every bloggers should plan the objectives of the blog. That�s the foundation in a blog. When I start this blog, my target was �Providing articles in Web technologies, Engineering Topics and Computing�. After some time I understood it�s not a great idea. Many visitors didn�t like a wide of topics. They want good articles in a specific thing.
So the blogger should protect the theme in a blog. It means the content of the blog should be unique, fresh and based on single topic. That�s why now I�m providing articles in Web technologies.
One of another important thing in blog is �Blog should not be a commercial thing�. But we can show minimum number of ad units. Everyone knows the requirement of money. If you provide better thing from your blog, that�s enough to satisfy with your mind.
I think �The communicative ability of the blog� is the main successful thing in a blog. Because anyone can give respond to a post by commenting. In this blog I wrote post about a way to add social bookmarking icons after every post in the blog. When I�m preparing that post I knew the method to add a single icon which gives many social bookmarking services. But there was a problem that is when a visitor wants to select a major one likes Digg, Technorati, then the visitor should use separate window. So one of the reader asked the method to add few icons in major social bookmarking systems. But I didn�t know the method to do it. Fortunately one of another reader showed the method to do it. It�s very useful to me also. That�s a big advantage in blog. This is a good example for �Nobody can first, second, third etc�. Everyone have the same chance. You can get an idea about that happen after reading this post.
